Speaking my mind.

Buckle up and prepare for a wild ride! Because somehow despite being more active on this blog than I am on Instagram (don't fact check me on this) I have somehow once again gone 2 months without posting any updates. And OHMYGOD it has been an action packed 2mo!

For starters, my sister is now engaged. Above photo shows me CHEESING at the engagement party in sweet sunny Williamsburg, VA. Home of the William & Mary campus, soon to be home of THE Natalie Skees. Go her! And my future brother-in-law is awesome too.

Second up - a surprise birthday party for my dear friend Alex. He's been mentioned here before on some of my skiing blogs. Great freakin dude, & what a blast. Not much else to say here but it was good vibes and the old man is finally 24!!

Speaking of birthdays, another notable mention is the birthday of my equally dear friend Arnas. He was an original member of my Skateboard Team in college, and absolutely a friend for life. For him, we kayaked the Shenandoah (yes it was as daunting as it sounds) and then ventured into Appalachia to explore the hollers of the mountains. And by hollers I mean ciderys built into the sides of peoples homes.

And on the topic of CIDERYS (kinda) - the WINCHESTER PICKLEFEST!! Meadowe and I spent a day maxxing out on sodium and learning that there may just be such a thing as too much pickle. Although I didn't learn my lesson because I was snacking on them the next day anyway. We met up with our good friends Anthony & Bri who wholeheartedly disliked the pickle+champagne drink available at the bar. Not pictured but TRUE STORY: some giant gust of wind picked up about 5 umbrellas and launched them across the sky into a crowded seating area. Nobody was hurt but it felt like a warzone, LOL.

Last but certainly not least, I FINALLY went to see the Strokes in concert. My favorite band ever. Other notable concerts since July: Foreigner & Lynyrd Skynyrd.

There's been a lot more but this is about all I'm willing to type out as I sit here in the dark on a Wednesday night. More to come! Let's hope that someday Weebly adds a feature that lets you publish blogs from your iPhone. Although honestly it's looking like they will shut down the websites before that happens. SMH SQUARESPACE!! >:(
